Questions owners ask.

Price and trial

Do you take a cut of my payments?

No. Payments go straight to your bank or your own Stripe account, with no fee from us.

What happens when the trial ends?

Add a card to carry on. Without one, your account turns read-only: nothing is charged and nothing is deleted.

I have two showrooms. What do I pay?

The full price for the first and half price for each one after it, on the same plan.

What is the founding rate?

The first shops join Boutique at a lower rate, locked for as long as the subscription runs without a break. The rate rises as doors fill; the one you join at is the one you keep. What each plan includes

Is VAT included?

Prices are per showroom, per month: VAT where applicable in the UK, and plus GST/HST in Canada.

How does AI work on my plan?

Every plan includes an AI allowance: 300 actions a month on Store, 750 on Boutique and 2,000 on House. One action is one piece of work the system writes for you: a spec typed up from your voice notes, a follow-up drafted in your words, your evening summary, a client briefing before she arrives, or a page of your order book read into rows. Visualise and the receptionist, when they arrive, draw on it most, and packs are added above it if you need more. Jiya and transcription never count.

Moving in

Can you move my data from my current system?

Yes. Moving your data is priced by volume, and free for founding shops. How moving in works

Can I keep my paper measure book?

Photograph it; we type it in at day 0.

Who helps me after I move in?

One named person who knows your shop, from day 30. For our first shops, that's Shruti, who runs onboarding.

Makers

Does it work with my maker in India or Pakistan?

Yes. They get their own app, free, in Hindi, Urdu or English, and see only your orders.

Can the workroom see what I charge?

No. Never.

Will you introduce my maker to anyone?

No. Your makers are never introduced to anyone, and a maker never sees another boutique's work.

Clients and privacy

Can brides book online?

Yes — from your own page, with the types and hours you set; walk-ins are logged in a tap.

Does my client see Seamroom's name?

No. Her page is in your shop's name and never says Seamroom.

What about a bride who wants a surprise outfit for her family?

Her page shows nothing before you approve it, and the people she invites see only what she allows.

What happens to my data if I leave?

You have 90 days to export all of it; then it is deleted and you get a certificate saying so. Delete your account

Payments

Can clients pay online?

Yes, where you connect Stripe to your own account: she pays the balance from her page. Card, cash, transfer and your own card machine are recorded too.

Do you hold my money?

No. Payments go to your bank or your own Stripe account; we never hold them, and never move money to makers.

The apps

Is there a customer app?

No — a link, by email or from your own phone; nothing to install.

Is Jiya included?

Yes, on every plan: Jiya, the assistant, and voice-note transcription are never counted against your allowance.
