Delete your account
Only the boutique's owner can close the account. In Seamroom on the web, go to More → Your plan → Close (closing isn't in the phone app yet). Or write from the email address the owner signs in with to hello@seamroom.com, with the boutique's name, and we'll do it.
What happens
- For 90 days after you close, your data is kept so you can take a copy or change your mind. The owner can download every record, as files any system can read, from More → Your plan on the web. Photographs are listed in the download, not included: for a copy of them, email us and we'll do it.
- After the 90 days, everything is deleted: every record and every file, for every showroom.
- We email the owner a certificate saying what was deleted and when.
- Our backup copies expire after 30 days, so the deleted data leaves our backups within 31 days of that.
What is kept
- The certificate's record: the boutique's name and the date.
- Our invoices to you, which are held by our payment provider, Stripe: your business name and what you paid, never a client's record.
- If a workroom received your orders through the platform, your boutique's name stays on that workroom's own records: the name only, nothing you entered.
- Your team's sign-in accounts are held by our sign-in provider, Clerk. To have them removed too, email us and we'll do it.
Changed your mind? Reopen the account from More → Your plan on the web at any time in the 90 days, or email us and we'll do it.
One client, not the whole boutique. Delete a client's record from their page in the app. It needs a second person on your team to approve it; if you work alone, email us and we'll do it. Her invoices and payments are kept in your records.
Stopping without closing: if your plan ends unpaid, the account goes read-only and nothing is deleted. Add a card and it carries on where it left off.
