Our story

Built inside a sherwani house.

  1. Where it started

Seamroom started inside a sherwani house: two showrooms, and workrooms in Delhi making for both.

  2. What broke

Not the tailoring. What broke was everything around it: the bill book, the WhatsApp groups, and the wait for an approval while the wedding came closer.

  3. Why we built it

We looked for software that ran a made-to-order shop and its workroom on the same order, and didn't find it. So we built it, and ran our own shop on it first.

  4. The workroom's side

The maker's app is in the karigar's language — Hindi, Urdu or English — because the people who make the clothes shouldn't have to read English to see the work.

    Your makers
  5. What we promise

No cut of your clients' payments. Your makers never introduced to anyone. Everything you put in is yours: a copy whenever you ask for one, and deleted with a certificate when you leave.

    The money
  6. Who answers

When you call, Moon answers: the person who built it.
